GetYourselfConnected (“GYC”, “we”, “us”) is operated by an individual based in Geneva, Switzerland.
1. What we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
- Account information: name, email address, password (hashed)
- Profile information: role, company, location, bio — provided voluntarily by you
- Usage data: pages visited, features used — collected automatically
- Communications: messages sent between members on the platform
2. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not use your data for advertising
- We do not share your data with anyone except as described below
3. Who we share data with
We use the following services to operate GYC. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase (database and authentication) — supabase.com/privacy
- Vercel (hosting) — vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Stripe (payments) — stripe.com/privacy
- Resend (email delivery) — resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
4. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your data
To exercise these rights, email info@getyourselfconnected.com. We will respond within 5 business days.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
6. Connections and messages
When you connect with another member and exchange messages, both parties can see those messages. We do not moderate private messages unless required by law.
7. No warranties
GYC is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of any connections made through the platform. We are not responsible for the actions of other members.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, GYC's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or CHF 50, whichever is less.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We will notify you by email if changes are material.
