Terms of Service

1. The service

GYC is a private network that helps members make intentional connections. We do not guarantee that you will find what you are looking for.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use GYC. You may not create accounts on behalf of others.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Harass, spam, or abuse other members
• Use GYC for illegal purposes
• Attempt to access other members' accounts or data
• Scrape or harvest data from the platform

4. Connections and relationships

GYC facilitates introductions. We are not responsible for the outcome of any connection, meeting, business deal, or relationship that results from using the platform. Use your own judgement.

5. Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a limited licence to display it to other members as part of the service. We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

6. Payments and refunds

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time — your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period. We offer refunds within 14 days of initial purchase if you have not made more than 5 connections. Contact info@getyourselfconnected.com to request a refund.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

8. No warranties

GYC is provided “as is” without any warranties. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of matches, or any specific outcomes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, we are not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of business, profits, or data
• Actions or conduct of other members

Our total liability is limited to CHF 50 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 3 months, whichever is less.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
